At Squola, Study Abroad Italy offers Semester, Summer Session and Short-Term immersion language programs, in combination with Italian Studies courses taught in both Italian and English.

The contemporary approach of Squola aims to go beyond traditional Italian language studies by teaching students how to speak and live in Italian society today. Squola students will be exposed to the changing realities of the Italian language, its dialects, foreign influences, the advent of television and cinema, and the historic evolution of the language.

Located in Palazzo Ramirez de Montalvo, a 17th century palace in the historic center of Florence, the school’s interior space has been totally renovated. Facilities include a language lab, and language class sizes are 8-12 students.

US university credit is available for Semester studies at Squola, through Study Abroad Italy.
