Full Program Cost Includes: 15 weeks in Florence, Tuition & US academic credit for up to 15 credit hours of academic course, Organized admissions and advising services, Carefully selected accommodations in the historic center, Airport pick-up for Florence Airport on arrival day, Academic field trips, 3-day and single day excursions, Welcome reception, Dedicated on-site SAI Program Coordinator in Florence, 24 hour emergency support line, Orientation, Weekly cultural activities,  SAI T-Shirt, Student Visa Consulting, Health insurance, Cell phone with free incoming calls and texts, Farewell evening, Registration fees for re-entry conferences.

Not included in the Full Program cost: application fee; security deposit; single room supplement; airfare; meals and personal expenses; books or studio/lab fees; optional excursions offered by SAI or the host school.

Program Deadlines

STEP 1 Tuesday June 15, 2011 Application Deadline.
Late applications will be accepted on a space available basis.
STEP 2 Within 2 weeks of acceptance: $500 non-refundable confirmation deposit
$300 Security Deposit
$1000 Single Supplement fee (if applicable)
STEP 3 Saturday May 1, 2011* 50% of Total Program Fee
STEP 4 Thursday July 1, 2011 Balance of Program Fee

* Please Note: If you apply on or after May 1st then steps 2 and 3 will be combined. Therefore your Confirmation Deposit will include the $500 NON-REFUNDABLE Confirmation Deposit + $300 Security Deposit (if requesting housing) + Single Supplement Fee (if applicable) + 50% of Total Program Fee.

Financial Aid

Students using financial aid are required to pay Application Fee, Confirmation Deposit, Security Deposit (if requesting housing) and Single Room Supplement (if applicable). Written verification of financial aid award or loan approval must be sent to our office in order to delay the balance of program fee and before your application is considered complete. If your financial award is not sufficient to cover entire Program Fee, the difference must be paid by the final payment date. Please direct all questions concerning financial aid to the SAI California office. Financial aid students who do not submit all required documents by the required dates will be withdrawn.
