Housing

SAI aims to create a comfortable living environment for each student by providing safe, well-maintained, student-level housing in quality apartments. Staff will be on hand to greet and help orient you to your new apartment and city, and they will remain available to answer questions and assist with maintenance needs that may arise.

Shared student accommodations

All students will be placed in a semi private bedroom (rooms are divided by either a large closet or a wall) in a two-person suite with shared facilities.

Each suite includes:

  • Bed linens and dishes
  • Breakfast bar with stools
  • A kitchen with a convection oven and fridge
  • A bathroom with shower and basin
  • Full length mirror
  • Desk with drawers, shelving and chair
  • Bed with storage space underneath
  • Closet with hanging space and shelving
  • Bean bag

Building includes:

  • Two outdoor courtyards
  • Study/reading rooms
  • TV rooms
  • fitness room
  • Resident café with internet access and comfortable seating
  • Cashless environment whereby students or their parents can ‘top up’ their room key card with cash to use for laundry, vending, for the café. Students do not need to carry cash around the building.
  • In-room cleaning for a fee
  • Laundry drop off/pickup for a fee
  • Coin (Cashless) operated laundry
  • Bicycle storage

Housing Requests

  • Housing requests are made by submitting a “housing request form” with your application.
  • Applications are processed when payment of your confirmation deposit has been made.
  • Roommate requests must be mutual; both you and your roommate must clearly write each other’s name on the housing request form.

Housing assignment confirmation

  • Students will receive housing and roommate assignments via email at least one week prior to the start of the term.

Arrival

  • Please plan to arrive on housing move-in day. Apartments will not be available for early check-in. Any students arriving early should make prior arrangements to stay at a local hotel until check-in day.
