Travel Advice

Undergraduate summer students arriving on the check-in day/s (below) into the airport of Milan Malpensa (MPX) or Milan Linate (LIN) will be met by a SAI representative, and will receive the complimentary SAI shuttle service to their apartments.

  • Pick-up during the summer is offered from Milan Malpensa at 10:30am & 3:30pm and Milan Linate at 11:30am & 5:30pm.

Master’s students will be sent a voucher for the Milan Express. This train will take students from the airport into the city center.

While each student is responsible for his or her own travel arrangements, for 10 years SAI has worked together with Waldorf Travel Service to offer SAI Milan students the lowest available student-priced airline tickets. Waldorf Travel contact info is below.

We encourage students to book their flights WELL IN ADVANCE and to make sure to notify the travel agent that they are a SAI student attending school in Milan. Please note that the number of student-priced tickets is limited. Contact Waldorf Travel as soon as possible to make arrangements.

We suggest that students arrive in Italy with €200.00 to pay for taxis, trains, food and other immediate needs.

  • Summer VI 2011 (4 Weeks/6 Credits: 2 DA Courses): July 10, 2011
  • Summer VII 2011 (4 Weeks/6 Credits: 1 NABA Course + 1 DA Course): July 10, 2011
  • Summer VIII 2011 (4 weeks/6 credits: Dual City Summer Program: London/Milan): July 8, 2011 (In London — students are asked to fly into London Heathrow Airport)
