Travel Advice

While each student is responsible for his/her own travel arrangements, Study Abroad Italy has made arrangements with Waldorf Travel of California to offer John Cabot University students the lowest available student-priced airline tickets. We encourage students to book their flights WELL IN ADVANCE (at least 90 days prior to departure) and to make sure to notify the travel agent that they are a Study Abroad Italy student attending JCU. Please note that the number of student-priced tickets is limited. Contact Waldorf Travel as soon as possible to make arrangements.Study Abroad Italy recommends flying into Fiumicino Airport in Rome.

We suggest that students arrive in Italy with €200.00 to pay for any immediate or unexpected expenses. Students must submit a Student Arrival Information sheet (found in their housing assignment packet) to inform our Rome office of their date and time of arrival. Once in Rome, students will be met by the Program Coordinator, and will be issued keys and taken to their apartment.

Arrival Dates
Students should plan to arrive at the Fiumicino Airport in Rome (Airport Code: FCO) between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm.
