Orientation

During the first few days after arrival the school organizes a series of meetings and events designed to provide students with a thorough orientation of the city and surrounding area, and a full explanation of the academic program, including introduction to the faculty and staff.

On arrival day/s, students are met at the Torino airport and taken to their apartment for program check-in. Upon arrival, all SAI students receive a cloth welcome bag that contains a few simple items meant to help refresh them after a long flight. The bag also contains an orientation folder, which provides contact information and emergency numbers and an orientation schedule. The bags are made of recycled material, and can be reused to do your marketing, instead of the store plastic bags.

On the first night of orientation there is a short tour of the city, which gives our new arrivals a sense of context and allows them to get their bearings. By the end of orientation, students will have a clear understanding of their new environment and will feel confident moving about the city independently.
