At Chelsea, students learn the practical, theoretical and professional elements of their subject in a setting that encourages experimentation. The Chelsea campus, in the Pimlico area of London, overlooks the Tate Britain Museum and the River Thames. It has well-equipped workshops, extensive library facilities, a canteen and an on-site gallery, Chelsea Space. Chelsea Space is a central element of the exhibition program, and also hosts the Exhibition Studio Workspace, a workshop that gives students the opportunity to work within the professional gallery environment. The workshop engages students in live curatorial practice within a renowned public space.
