Studying abroad has had a profound impact on me in many ways. Sometimes, the memories feel so surreal that they seem like a dream. Living in Barcelona, where I improved my Spanish skills, built my own community in a completely new city, saw La Sagrada Familia every time I went to class, and experienced some of the most inspiring moments of my life.

However, I learned important lessons about the world and myself, as it taught me that I could achieve anything I set my mind to. The experience helped me adapt to different environments, meet new people, stay open to new ideas, immerse myself in the culture, and broaden my perspective beyond what I initially believed about my abilities. I networked and formed educational and community connections that remain meaningful to me to this day.

Overall, I was surprised by my own success, and none of it would have been possible without the support I received from SAI. As an alumnus, I can continue to express my gratitude by sharing my story and how SAI has truly transformed my life. So, to SAI, thank you for all the education and opportunities I have had the pleasure of experiencing. Happy 30th Anniversary!
