SAI’s Sicily Internship Program, offered in collaboration with MADE School of Arts & Sciences, offers students the opportunity to jumpstart their careers in a close-knit community on the Mediterranean coast. Known for its rich cultural heritage and welcoming atmosphere, Sicily offers a unique backdrop for personal and professional growth. Through this program, students immerse themselves in the island’s history and culture, working alongside professionals and experiencing Sicily’s dynamic way of life. With a wide range of placement options and personalized support on-site, students develop valuable skills and insights within an inspiring and authentic Italian setting.

Joining Sicily’s workforce provides a meaningful opportunity to experience its culture. Internship students create professional and personal connections that root them in their host city and create a sense of a second home abroad. Additionally, interns build peer communities by participating in activities alongside other interns and study abroad students.
SAI offers all students the Viva Experience: frequent cultural activities, at no extra cost, for participants to get to know their community, city and country. Following is a sample of the activities included in this program. Please note that actual activities may differ.
