Although I am Spanish I am not from Barcelona, however, I like to say this is my adoptive city since I fell in love with it when I moved here 8 years ago. In this blog, I will explain how to get your T Jove, a wonderful way of moving around while saving money.
It is well known that Barcelona has an amazing public transport system, but what is less well known is how affordable it can be for young people.
One of the best deals is the T-jove, a personal travel pass available to anyone under 30 years old. For €45.50, you get unlimited travel for 90 consecutive days across the entire Barcelona integrated fare network!
Even better, the T-jove has one single price regardless of the number of zones. It can be used across all seven fare zones, meaning you can travel far beyond the city centre without paying extra.
For example, you can use it to travel around central Barcelona, visit places such as Badalona, Sitges, or head further out into the metropolitan area—all with the same pass. You can also use it to reach Barcelona Airport’s T1 and T2 metro stations on L9 Sud.

The pass works across the integrated public transport network, including metro, buses, trains and other regular services covered by the ATM fare system. It is also valid for unlimited journeys, so you can use public transport as often as you like during those 90 days.
For young people living, studying or travelling around Barcelona, this makes getting around the city and exploring the surrounding beaches, towns and attractions remarkably affordable.

ONLINE PROCESS
Getting the T-jove is an easy procedure since you can do it online and hold the digital card in your phone. You can also have it physically, for this, you will have to have it mailed to the SAI office. In any case you need to create an account on TMB first, you can do it by linking your google, apple or facebook account. Then, you have to follow the next steps and fill out all the information required
Once you are registered, you can choose whether to have a digital copy of the transportation card or have a physical card emailed to the office.
IN PERSON PROCESS
If you want, you can also do the registration process in person. For that, you can go directly to one of the TMB information points. We recommend you go to TMB Universitat or TMB Sagrada Familia. For the in person registration you must bring your passport. If you choose a physical card, it needs to be emailed to the office.
