My Internship Experience in Rome
Peter, Rome, Fall 2018
January 10, 2019

My name is Peter and I am currently completing an internship position at MedinAction. I secured this position through a connection via John Cabot University’s Center for Career Services.

MedinAction is an on-demand, English-speaking medical service that delivers a qualified doctor to your home, office, or hotel.  The service is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day.  You can book your licensed physician online, by phone, or the app.   MedinAction is available in Rome, Bologna, Venice, Florence, and Milan.  Beyond house call visits, MedinAction will help organize appointments with local English-speaking clinics and specialists in the area should you require blood tests, an ex-ray, stitches, an MRI, ultrasound, or more specialized care.

This office secured an interview for me with Dr. Andrea Guerriero, the co-founder of MedinAction. Dr. Guerriero was very welcoming and excited to have me join the team during the interview. Since then, I have been working on promotional social media management and communications.

Specifically, I have been creating blog posts linked to health and well-being, which is especially rewarding for me as a psychology major. I am so grateful to have had this experience!
