Fashion Business: Legacy & Innovation
Students will begin the program with two weeks of coursework in Paris at Sup de Luxe. Students will then travel independently to Florence, in which they will complete two weeks of coursework at Polimoda.

  • Sup de Luxe: In Paris, the course places a strong emphasis on the heritage of French luxury brands and the principles of brand management. Students explore the creative process and the concept of “new luxury,” while also examining the role of digital technology in the luxury sector. Topics include how digital tools support brand communication and social media strategy, as well as how to develop an effective digital marketing and communication plan. The program also introduces students to emerging digital trends such as the metaverse and artificial intelligence. Designed specifically for those interested in fashion, this course offers a deep understanding of the core values of luxury and the role of innovation in the industry.
  • Polimoda: In Florence, the program centers on the rich legacy of Italian fashion, exploring the values, craftsmanship, and business practices that define iconic Italian brands. Students delve into the cultural and symbolic meaning of fashion through the lens of sociology, gaining a deeper appreciation of its influence on society. The curriculum offers a close look at product knowledge—particularly leather goods—followed by coursework in merchandising strategy and retail management. The program is designed to equip students with the tools to shape future innovation in fashion and inspire the next generation of industry leaders.

Courses & Schedule
Courses at Sup de Luxe and Polimoda are intensive and will take place five days per week. Specific course times and activities will be detailed just before the start of the program.

At the completion of the program, students will receive a US transcript from St. Martin’s University (WA), as well as a certificate issued by Sup de Luxe for its 2 week course, and a certificate issued by Polimoda for its 2 week course.
