Academics

Summer courses are intensive and courses run Monday – Friday, meeting 4 days per week for 3 – 4 hours per day. SAI students are free to enroll in any available course, but prerequisites must be demonstrated through students’ transcripts.

In addition to a wide range of elective courses, students can choose to enroll in a French Language Immersion course. The hands-on language course offers a deep-dive into French language and culture. The course pairs classroom instruction with experiences throughout the city of Paris, for a well-rounded exposure to France. Please note that enrollment in this course incurs a supplemental fee, which covers daily light breakfast, as well as entrance fees for class visits.

Course Registration

When applying, students are asked to make a preliminary course selection through SAI’s website, which SAI then communicates to AUP. Once students confirm their attendance, they are issued an AUP student NetID. These login credentials permit students to access a personal portal account directly on the AUP site, where they can view their course registrations. After receiving course registration confirmation, no changes can be made to a student’s schedule until arrival in Paris.
