Between the Pasta & the Pizza…
Ezra, Florence, Spring 2013
April 22, 2013

March is gone just as quickly as it has arrived. A month filled with midterms, spring break and plenty of rain it was surely one to remember. In a just a few days I went from stressing over midterms and getting some last minute studying in to the long awaited beaches of Barcelona. I also visited Paris as well which was a beautiful city which reminded me much of back home. Although both these places were great to visit, being away from “home” for such an extended period of time made me realize how much I really enjoy Florence.

Between the pasta, pizza, and the wonderful artistic culture I realized that I wanted to start exploring Italy more and made several day trips to Venice, Prato and Fiesole.  These were all great places to visit but Venice was truly something remarkable. I’ve heard about Venice’s famous canals before but to actually go and ride a through them in a gondola is something that is going to be hard to be matched. The expression time fly’s went your having fun cant even begin to describe how fast the time goes by, so I guess it’s safe to say that I’m loving every minute of it.
